Recital
Every year we have a traditional recital where students can dress up and perform in a fancy hall, with professional photography and videography.
This year, a special guest came to teach the kids about conducting.
But the most important part of recitals is the chance for students to enjoy spending time with each other!
Christmas Party
In addition to our regular recitals, we also have a smaller recital as part of our Christmas party. This is a much smaller, less formal event, with a greater focus on duets and group pieces. After the recital, students get to exchange Christmas presents, eat, play, and spend time together.
Nishinomiya International Violin Studio Practice Competition
What is a practice competition?
The Practice Competition is an annual competition held for students of Nishinomiya International Violin Studio. Every day, students record the amount of time that they practiced and report it on their practice sheet. Practice time is adjusted for age and bonus points are awarded for consecutive practice days. At the end of the 6-week competition period, the winner is awarded a prize worth approximately 10000 yen, and other smaller prizes are awarded for significant accomplishments.
The next practice competition will start on November 1st, 2024.
